Day 01: Arrive Gongor Airport, Transfer to Tsedang Hotel. O/N in Hotel - BB
The flight over the Himalayas makes spectacular crossing rarely seen anywhere in the world. The lush green colour in Nepal slowly fades away and arid and dull gray plateau appears which in turn turns into blue sky as you land at Lhasa. The highest mountain in the world, Mt.Everest, and another 8000-meter peak of Mt.Makalu dominates the breathtaking view Lhasa (3650m) is situated on the north of bank of Kyichu River, a tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo river. Lhasa is a city truly blessed by the Gods where life is unburied. Tsedang, situated 170km Southeast of Lhasa in the Yarlung Valley along the banks of the Tsangpo (Brahmaputra)river is the cradle of Tibetan civilization. This region abounds with important historical landmarks such as Samye, Yumbulakhang Chonggye, Mindroling and others.

Day 02:Explore Yarlung Tsngpo, the cradle of Tibetan civilization, visit Samye the oldest monastery & Yumbulakhang, the first castle built for a Tibetan King.O/N in Hotel - BB
The Yarlung Tsangpo Canyon or the Tsangpo Gorge along the Brahmaputra in Tibet is regarded by many as the "largest" canyon on Earth, and is the deepest canyon of the world. Flowing from Mount Kailash. Samye monastery lies 40km to the west of Tsedang across the Tsangpo River. It is the first monastery built by King Trisong Detsen in the 8th century. Samye Monastery combines 3 distinctive architectural styles that of India, China and Tibet, symbolizing the source, stability and spread of the Buddhist faith. It is believed the community of monks began when this monastery was built. Another attraction is Yambulakhang Palace that is situated 12 km south of Tsedang, the first palace built by the Tibetan and for their first recorded king Nyatri Tsedpo, who is believed to have descended from heaven. It is a 5 storied fortress-like dwelling built on the spur of a bill that commands an impressive view of the entire fertile valley. It was destroyed during the cultural revolution and the present structure is an exact replica of the original rebuilt 1982.

Day 03: Drive via Mondronling Monastery to Lhasa, check into Hotel. O/N in Hotel - BB

Day 04: In Lhasa. Sightseeing: Drepung monastery , Jokang temple and Barkhor Bazaar. O/N in Hotel - BB
Visit the Drepung monastery. This is the largest monastery in the world and once housed 10,000 monts and nuns. It was built in 1419 and the second, thrid and fourth Dalai Lamas lived and were entombed here. A visit to the kitchen of this monastery is a must. Look out for the washing machine in which the monks mix their butter tea. Next stop will the Jokhang Temple. This is the holiest shrine in Tibet and houses a golden statue of the Buddha. You then visit to the Barkhor Bazaar outside the Jokhang monastery. This is the bustling flea market where you can buy vouvenirs and meet other tourists

Day 05: In Lhasa. Potala, Norbulingka summer palace and Sera monastery. O/N in Hotel - BB
Visit to the Potala Palace is awesom. The Palace of the Dalai Lama, a treasure of Tibetan culture was, till 1965, the seat of both religion and politics in Tibet. It was built in the 7th century by Tsongtsen Gampo as a fort and later renovated by the 5th Dalai lama in the 17th century to its present specifications. Visit to the Narbulingka, the winter Palace of the Dalai lama built in the 18th century would be the next attraction in your sightseeing tour. Next you will visit to Sera Monastery, a preserved monastery of white-washed walls and golden roofs

Day 06: After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight to Kathmandu or onward
