After flying in to Lukla, you will start trek to Phakding and enter into the home of Sherpa community perched in the nook and corner of the valleys known as Khumbu. After Phakding the trail gradually climb to Jorsale where you will stop for a while at the Park Office and take the steep but gradual walk to Namche Bazar. You spend two nights in Namche bazaar. While at Namche Bazar visit the villages at Thame (3811m) and Khumjung. Thame village was the original home of the famous climber Tenging Norgey who reached the summit of Mt. Everest for the first time in human history with Sir Edmund Hillary. The extra days at 3400 meter allows you to acclimitize in the increasingly thin air as you go up higher. After Namche Bazar the trail drops down to Dudh Koshi River; cross the small hamlet of Punki Thanka and climb another steep trail that gradually takes you to the famous monastery at Thayngboche.
Thyangboche monastery is famous for Mani Rimdu festival that usually happens in October. On this festive day the monks perform special dance and the head lama does the prayer. Many trekkers gather on this day to watch the festival. The trail from Thyangboche gently drops down to Dudh Kosi river and follows it. You will reach the summer settlement of Dingboche. Next day walk down the valley of Chukung; It is a short walk. Exploring around the area. There are several high viewpoints to see the panoramic view of the region including the icefall at Amphulapcha. Very close by is the base camp of Island peak; it is one of the most popular trekking peak.
Another two days at 4300 meter around Dingboche also provides sufficient time to acclimitize your body. Lobouje is your second last last stop on the way to Kalapattar and base camp of Mt. Everest. Depending upon weather and logistical condition you may stop at Gorakshep for an overnight or you may go straight to climb Kalapattar to see the close up stunning view of Mt.Everest. If you are energetic and have time you may visit the base camp of Mt. Everest.
The high point in this trek is the majestic view of Mt.Everest and surrounding lofty Himalayan peaks in the back drop of deep blue sky. The grandeur of nature that you see would be one of the most memorable times in your life. After completion of your journey you follow same trail back to Lukla. The trek ends with flight to Kathmandu.
Highlight: Everest 8848m - the highest point on earth. The stone-walled fields and houses of ancient villages steeped in history and tradition, golden-roofed monasteries set amid stunning mountain scenery, the Yak and wild animals and of course to see the Sherpas.
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Evening free to explore Kathmandu own

Day 03: Fly Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2652m)- 4 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Transfer from hotel to domestic airport to board Lukla flight. Fly to Lukla (2800m). This flight provides a magnificent entree to the trek region. Upon arrival set up your baggage’s and start your first day trek. It is an easy walk through several villages to Phakding, where you will stay overnight.
Day 04: Phakding – Namche Bazar (3440m): - 5/6 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
You follow the Dudh Kosi for about 2 hour and then climb slowly up a steep trail to Namche. As you climb, you enjoy our first views of Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7879m) and Lhotse (8383m).Overnight at Namche.
Namche Bazzar is the main centre of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday. If you trek a few hundred vertical feet during the day, it will help you to properly acclimatize. Your guide will take you to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where you can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life of the Everest region.
Day 05: At Namche - Acclimatization day (3440m):- Guest House Accommodation
Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar. You enjoy a rest day here to allow for maximum acclimatization on your way to Everest Base Camp. A pleasant day can be spent exploring the village or Shyangboche airtrip, talking to the Sherpas and simply enjoying and marveling at the incredible scenery.
Day 06: Namche Bazar – Thyangboche (3867m): - 5/6 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Trek along a very pleasant trail under the soaring peak to Thamserku and steadily descending to the Imja river where there are a series of water driven prayer wheels. You climb steadily for about 2 hours to Thyangboche Monastery (3875m) and the views from here are magnificent. The Monastery is literally surrounded by mountains. Yaks graze on the small meadow and the monks drone through their prayers. Yes, this is one of the most beautiful spots in the world.
Day 07: Thyangboche – Dingboche (4530m): - 4/5 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Trek up to the Imja river valley to Pangboche (3900m)where you stop for lunch and visit the Monastery. In the afternoon continue your trek to the summer village of Dingboche(4360m). The scenery all day is superb.
Day 08: At Dingboche – Acclimatization day: - Guest House Accommodation
Another rest and acclimatization day at DINGBOCHE. This rest and acclimatization day should give you an excellent chance of ascending Kalapattar, the Base Camp of the Everest. From Dingboche there are a number of interesting excursions. You can walk to Chukkung (4700m), to the glaciers flowing off Nuptse and Lhotse and return Dingboche for overnight stay.
Day 09: Dingboche – Lobuche (4930m): - 4/5 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Trek further up a small ridge and then contour around the base of the Khumbu glacier and have a light lunch at Dhugla(4600m). From here you trek a short steep climb to the terminal moraine of the glacier from where the views are stunning. Overnight stay at Laubuche (4930m).
Day 10: Lobuche – Kala Patthar (5545m)– Gorakshep (5160m): - 6/7 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Today you climb Kalapattar (5545m). The actual distance is not so far but you take it very slowly to compensate for the altitude stopping at Gorakhshep (5288m) for a light lunch. You then take the climb to Kala Pathar (5545m) from where you can see the Everest Base Camp is just down. This is a hard pull but the view from top surpasses anything you can imagine. All around us flow huge glacier ice. The mountains of PUMORI (7145m), LINGTREN (6697m) and Khumbutse (6623m) separate you from Tibet, and just over the Lho La pass. You see the huge rock of Changtse (7550m) in Tibet itself. But the queen of them all - Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest 8848m) towers over everyone. You stay overnight at Gorakshep to attempt Everest Base camp next day morning and descend Debuche.
Day 11: Gorakshep – Everest Base camp – Labuche (4930m) – 6/7 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Early morning set out your feet for Everest Base camp – return to Gorakshep for breakfast and then you walk down to Debuche, this is pleasant day walk.
Day 12: Labuche - Debuche (3820m): - 4/5 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Trek back to Debuche and overnight.
Day 13: Debuche – Namche Bazaar (3440m): - 5 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Re-trace trail to Namche Bazaar – it is a pleasant walk and leaving behind all mighty peaks.
Day 14: Namche Bazaar – Lukla (2800m) : - 7/8 hours walk: Guest House Accommodation
Trek back to Lukla and overnight. It is a long day mainly downhill walk.
Day 15: Fly Lukla – Kathmandu:
After early breakfast at lodge, fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. In Kathmandu.
Day 16: In Kathmandu- free day
Day 17: In Kathmandu-free day
Day 18: Transfer to airport, depart Kathmandu
