Raksi-from-Nepal-among-worlds' 50 most delicious drinks

Describing 'Raksi' CNN writes in a travel report: 'Made from millet or rice, Raksi is strong on the nose and sends a burning sensation straight down your throat that resolves itself into a surprisingly smooth, velvety sensation."

Raksi figures in the list of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, that include Cider (England), Tequila (Mexico), Red Bull (Austria), Mango Lassi (India), Yakult (Japan), Guinness (Ireland), Pina colada (Puerto Rico), Fanta (Germany), Cendol (Indonesia), Sujeonggwa (Korea), Mojito (Cuba), Scotch whisky (Scotland), Martini (USA), Champagne (France) and Thai Iced Tea (Thailand), beer (global), tea, milk (global) and carrot juice (global). Obviously, the umber one is water.

"Nepalese drink this home brew to celebrate festivals, though we think that the prized drink itself is the reason to celebrate," the CNN report said.
