The high camp will be at an altitude of (4800m)from where the summit bid starts. After an alpine start, summit to the peak before afternoon, there is amazing views of Tibet and across to Shisapangma (the only 8000 meters peak situated wholly in Tibet). Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (2134m) - 8/9 hours drive. Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

After breakfast start trek with a lengthy but scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi. The road follows the Trishuli River Valley through pretty Dhunche Village, Trishuli Bazaar, and Betrawati. White and green are the predominant colours of this trip, distant snow-capped mountains in the background, and verdant hillocks and valleys up close. Explore the village if time permits.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2400m). Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

Descend through the village of Syabru and continue down the ridge until you come to a trail to the east that drops sharply off the ridge and through a dense forest. Cross a bridge (1960m) over a tributary of the Langtang Khola and then climb for a short distance. The trail continues level for a way before descending, still in the forest, to the Langtang Khola. The trail begins climbing up from the river, shortly after the trail levels off, you join the old Langtang trail (2380m) from Sherpagaon and Syabrubensi. Another hour from this trail junction brings you to the Lama Hotel in the tiny village of Chongong (2400m).

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3506m). Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

From the Lama Hotel the trail climbs steadily to Ghora Tabela with glimpses of Langtang Lirung (7246m) through the trees. At times the trail becomes very steep but only for short distances. Gradually the air becomes thinner and the climate colder. At Ghora Tabela (3048m) the trail leaves the forest and a spectacular view of Langtang Lirung appears. Ghora Tabela was once a Tibetan resettlement camp but is now an army post. Continue up the valley, leaving the forests behind, the trail ascends steadily up to Langtang village, passing below a monastery about 30 min beforehand. Langtang is an interesting Tibetan-style village with stone- walls enclosing houses and fields where you just might see your first yaks. The Langtang National Park headquarters is located here. After Langtang, you can see a community of typical flat-roofed Tibetan houses and the valley flattens and broadens into open pasture. This is perfect for raising yaks, and you will see these imposing beasts everywhere.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3811m). Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

The valley is U-shaped was carved by a glacier. Below Langtang, the valley has the characteristic V-shape of a river-carved valley. Leaving Langtang, you ascend gradually to a chorten (a small Tibetan Buddhist stupa) behind which is a very long mani wall. The trail passes two small villages and the village widens. You cross several streams and a moraine before arriving at Kyanjin Gompa (3811m). Between Langtang and Kyanjin Gompa, the views just get better and better where you will see Yansa Tsenji (6580m) and Kimshun (6750m) to the north and the Langtang Himal to the northwest. Take a good rest and allow your body to acclimatise to the high altitude as much as possible to be fully prepared for more ascending during the next day.

Day 07: Acclimatization day - Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

Today’s a day of rest and acclimatization, so we linger in Kyanjin Gompa and adjust to the altitude. The monastery for which the village is named is well worth a visit, as is the renowned cheese factory. For those willing to stretch their legs, a short hike to Kyanjin Ri (behind the village) affords breathtaking panoramas of the Langtang peaks.

Day 08: Trek to Yala Peak base camp (4800m) - camp

Today is a long 7 hour trek to the base camp of Yala Peak, and then we will go over some climbing basics in advance of tomorrow’s summit.

Day 09: Summit Yala Peak (5732m) - return to the base camp - camp

Start very early today, our long-awaited adventure day, to make the summit push for the top of Yala Peak! It’s a six-hour round trip, with plenty of time at the top to take pictures of the soul-stirring Himalayan panoramas. After, we will return back to base camp for the night before starting our descent.

Day 10: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3811m) - Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

Our descent starts today, as we double back from the Yala Peak base camp to Kyanjin Gompa. You’ll be surprised how the mountain looks different from this perspective.

Day 11: Trek to Lama Hotel - Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

Return via same route. You will descend faster. You may make a detour to Langtang village to see the large gompa located a short distance above the village. The Langtang region is kissed by an abundance of Alpine flora and fauna, gentian, and edelweiss blooms forming sprawling carpets over the hills. It’s only a four-hour trek back to Lama Hotel today, so you’ll have some time to wander the village and explore.

Day 12: Trek to Syabrubenshi (2134m) - Overnight at Lodge/Guest House

This is our last day on the mountain, and we spend it trekking six hours from Lama Hotel back to Syabru Bensi. A notable milestone on our way today will be the Chilime Hydropower Power Plant of Sherpa gaon( village), which powers the surrounding area. This is the land of the Tamang people, and it is a gorgeous one. If you are so inclined, tonight would be a great night to have a farewell party with your trekking group and guides.
